Dr. Gautam Khaund is a distinguished and experienced Specialist in ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) in North-East India. 

 

Dr. Gautam Khaund is the recipient of several awards in the field of ENT, including for his paper presentations at various ENT-related conferences in the region. He was Editor of the Annual Journal of the North-Eastern Branch of Association of Otolaryngologists of India (NEBAOI) for five years and treasurer of NEBAOI for two years. He has been an office-bearer at several medical associations in the region, and currently holds the post of President of the North East Sleep Society and President of DHWANI (an NGO for promotion of medical education). Dr. Khaund often serves as a resource person for state conferences in the region.

 

Dr. Gautam Khaund has several publications to his name in international, national and regional journals. He has delivered numerous invited talks, presented free papers, and participated in panel discussions at various conferences. He conducts hands-on and live surgical workshops on specialised ENT topics such as microscopic ear surgery, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) and myringoplasty. Dr. Khaund has published a number of public interest articles in various newspapers and magazines and regularly speaks on ENT-related subjects on radio and TV.

• Convener of the Workshop on Endoscopic DCR and micro ear surgery held at Nightingale Hospital in March 2004.
• Conducted workshop on FESS at Tezpur,EMM hospital under AOI Sonitpur in Feb’06.
• Resource person at Tripura state branch conference,Agartala 2010 August .Conducted a workshop on FESS.
