Ms. N. Rojina Devi completed her bachelor in Audiology and speech language pathologist and post-graduation in Audiology from All India Institute of Speech & Hearing, under University of Mysore in 2014, after which she worked under the Newborn Hearing Screening Project at RIMS Hospital, Imphal. She worked with a leading Hearing Aids Manufacturer, Widex, India, as Clinical Audiologist Based in Kolkata for a short while before joining Pratiksha Hospital as a consulting Audiologist and speech Language Pathologist in 2016. At Pratiksha Hospital she has been working with infant (newborn baby), children as well as adults with various Speech and Hearing disorders. She has been responsible for the pre and post cochlear Implant habilitation over 20recipients and many of whom have been successfully integrated in mainstream education system.

1) Diagnostics : Have dealt and experience in carrying out the followings:

• Pure Tone Audiometry in different kinds of clinical population and in difficult to testpopulation.
• Visual Reinforcement Audiometry and Behavioral Observation Audiometry in manypediatric populations.
• Impedance Audiometry and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs).
• Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA), Middle Latency Response (MLR) and Long Latency Responses (LLR) in adults and children.
• ASSR (Auditory steady state response)
• Diagnosing individual with auditory neuropathy.
• Differential diagnosis of cochlear Vs retro cochlear pathology.
• TRT (Tinnitus retraining therapy)

 

2) Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT)- principle based therapy for children with hearing impairment.

3) Speech Therapy- For those who have speech and language problem

 

4) Hearing aid trial and Ear mould 

• Have dealt with the selection and counseling of different kinds of hearing aids forchildren and adults.
• Have dealt with programming of digital hearing aids of different companies.

5) New Born Hearing Screening

• Have dealt with hearing screening for newly born babies, pediatric population and has gotexperience working in this field.
